Happy hunting: The art of hunting with the Hotel im Park
For experienced hunters and those who wish to learn about the art of hunting, the Hotel im Park has its own hunting ground concession and thus has an extra special treat in store. The hunting ground in Hungary, just a little over an hour away by car from Bad Radkersburg, is 5,200 hectares in size, 60 percent of which is agricultural area and 40 percent forest area. Red deer (also strong stags with a trophy weight of up to 12 kg), wild boar, roe deer and fallow deer populate the hunting ground as migratory game.

All the usual facilities are available to guests for their hunting trip in nearby Hungary. Besides accommodation (a small "Csarda" (old-style inn) directly in the hunting grounds, and well-appointed apartments), there are around 120 observation platforms. Two jeeps can be used, and one hunting manager and two professional hunters are available for guidance on location, if required.
The hunting ground is situated roughly just 10 kilometres from the Austrian border crossing at Eberau (Burgenland) between Körmend and Szombathely in the county of Vas in Western Hungary. It is an excellent red deer hunting ground and offers every opportunity for hunting on holiday. For detailed information enquire at the hotel reception.
