You can dine in any one of our three non-smoking restaurants in casual, Mediterranean style complemented by a culinary selection that is sure to appeal to all of your senses. Our multisensory cuisine awaits you!
The restaurant has been named after the Slovenian artist Adolf Pen. You can see his work in the reception area and in the restaurant. The artist lives in Murska Sobotka where he focuses on landscape painting. His expressive pictures invite reflection; some are even a little threatening where open landscapes end in the dark. Maybe he is trying to express a longing for the everlasting, an element of the Romantics, which is why the artist found the right frame for his works in the Romantik Hotel im Park!
If the pictures appeal to you and you would like to take some of this artistic romanticism home with you, there are some Adolf Pen pictures for sale in the foyer.
In the Pen Restaurant, you will see a painting of the Radkersburg old town that covers the entire width of one wall and emphasises the room’s ambience. The interior is decorated in sunny gold tones that reflect a Mediterranean flair.
Chef Edi Liebeg serves his tasty regional specialities for connoisseurs here. Although he has been cooking at the Romantik Hotel im Park for 24 years, he still comes up with new creations again and again. And he knows exactly how to pamper his guests. He takes great pleasure in creating new, tasty dishes from carefully selected ingredients.
The Pen Restaurant opens for dinner at 6:00 p.m.
The Little Restaurant, directly next to the Pen Restaurant, is also decorated in warm, sunny Mediterranean colours. One of the large windows along the locale’s side wall looks out over the garden, offering a fabulous view, no matter what the season. This intimate room radiates cosiness and hospitality with its friendly colours. A cuisine for all of the senses!
Manager Josip Hospel is responsible for the wellbeing of guests, who feel completely well cared for because he anticipates their every need. He likes offering suggestions and his recommendations for wine pairing are indispensable. He particularly likes to talk a little ‘shop’ with his guests and is always searching for new wines to offer them with the help of his team.
When you enter the Atrium Restaurant you will feel especially connected with nature. Sleek architecture and clear lines and simple red and white furnishings allow the 360-degree view of the garden and arboretum dominate completely. You can experience every season in this space with particular intimacy.
